Arrival Time for Students
Students who are eating breakfast are allowed to enter school at 8:10 a.m. All other students will be welcomed in at 8:20 a.m. and go directly to their classrooms. Prior to this student arrival time, teachers prepare for students and attend staff meetings. No supervision is available for students.
Dismissal
The school office and your child's teacher need a note for any change in a student's dismissal. Please send a physical note to school with your child or email the office at kellisonoffice@rsdmo.org. For example, if your child is walking home instead of taking the bus home, we must have a note from you. Changes in dismissal plans should be received prior to 2:45 p.m.
Early Dismissal and Late Arrivals
Sometimes it is necessary for a parent/guardian to pick up a child during the school day for dental or doctor appointments, etc. In such circumstances, parents/guardians must check in at the office and sign the student out. Students who are returned to school after their appointments, or students who are driven to school and arrive after the start of the school day, must have their parents/guardian sign them in.
